Blaubok or Framer?
Framer grew out of a design tool, and it shows. You work on a canvas much like a design app, with fine control over layout, type and motion, and the result is published on Framer’s hosting with a CMS for blogs and collections. Its AI can lay out a first draft from a prompt. For portfolios, startup launch pages and brand sites, it is hard to beat on polish. What Framer doesn’t try to be is a back office. Leads, bookings and payments usually come from other tools, embedded or linked. Blaubok starts there. You describe your business, and the site comes with a CRM, WhatsApp alerts, bookings, Razorpay and Stripe checkout and staff roles already working, with the code in your GitHub, the data in your Supabase and the hosting on your Vercel. If the visual craft matters most and the business runs elsewhere, use Framer. If the site has to take enquiries and payments itself, use Blaubok.

How each one charges
We describe how each tool charges rather than list prices, because prices change often.
How Framer charges
Framer has a free plan that publishes to a Framer web address with a Framer badge. Paid site plans, billed monthly or yearly, add a custom domain, more pages and CMS items, and higher traffic limits. Teams pay separately for workspace seats for the people who edit. Hosting is included in the site plan. Any booking, payment or CRM tools you embed are paid to those providers on top. Check Framer’s pricing page for the current plans.
How Blaubok charges
There is no required subscription. New accounts get free welcome credits, no card needed. After that, buy credit packs as you go, and the credits never expire, or take an optional monthly plan. AI chat uses credits per message, and each built-in feature is charged once per project, never on rebuilds. GitHub, Supabase and Vercel bill you directly, and all three have free tiers. If your plan and credits run out, there is a 14-day grace period, then the engine is committed into your repo so the site keeps building on its own.

Capture the look
Take screenshots of your Framer pages and note your fonts and colours. Describe the feel you want to keep when you chat.
Collect your content and tools
Copy your page text, download your images, and list the tools you embed for forms, bookings or payments. Many of them can be replaced by engine features.
Describe your business
Sign up, connect GitHub, Supabase and Vercel, and tell the chat what you sell and to whom. It wires in the CRM, bookings and checkout and writes the pages.
Build and refine
Click Build and the site is live on your Vercel in about five minutes. Ask for design changes in chat; they wait on a preview until you click Publish.
Switch the domain
Point your domain at Vercel once you are happy, then cancel the Framer site plan and any embedded tools you no longer need.

Framer vs Blaubok: common questions
Is Blaubok a good Framer alternative?
If your site needs to run part of your business, yes. Framer is a design tool first, and leads, bookings and payments usually come from embedded tools. Blaubok builds those into the site, with a CRM, WhatsApp alerts and checkout in one admin, on accounts you own.
Can Blaubok match Framer’s design and animation?
Not in the same way. Framer gives you a canvas with fine control over layout and motion. Blaubok builds clean, modern pages from a description, and you refine them by asking in chat. If pixel-level design is the point of your site, Framer is the better tool.
Where is Framer better?
Framer is better for portfolios, launch pages and brand sites where visual polish matters most. Its canvas will feel familiar if you already use design tools, and hosting is handled for you with no other accounts to connect. Blaubok has no visual editor.
Can I export my Framer site into Blaubok?
No. Framer sites can’t be exported as code, so you rebuild. Copy your text and images, note the look you want, and describe your business in the chat. The new site is built in about five minutes, and you keep refining it in chat.
What business features does Blaubok include?
290+ ready-built features, including a CRM with pipelines, WhatsApp Business alerts, bookings, Razorpay and Stripe checkout, memberships, a blog with an AI writer, a newsletter, forms, Google Reviews, documents and e-signature, staff roles and a native mobile app. The AI wires in the ones your business needs, and you add more later by asking.
Who owns the site?
You do. The code is in your GitHub, the data in your Supabase and the hosting on your Vercel. Built-in features come from the Blaubok engine, a compiled package your site installs. If your plan and credits lapse, there is a 14-day grace period, then the engine is committed into your repo so the site keeps building on its own.
